Hello all! It’s time for a pregnancy update! Can you believe my due date is less than two months away!?
How I feel
I’ve DEFINITELY been getting into the nesting mode!! Every morning this week I’ve woken up with something on my mind and the urge to organize or nest! Monday and Tuesday my mind was on making a list of things I needed to “buy” to organize the nursery. However, since we don’t have a lot of money I spent the time I had “pinning” to my nursery board and brainstorming ways to make our space work. Check out my new pins!!
Here are some of my favorite ideas:
This headband holder from Tinker with This
Pretty pegboard to hang by our changing table from Better Homes and Garden
Organizing cloth diapers from Baby Kerf
Wednesday I was in the mode to set up a command center in our kitchen (which usually has a pile of papers and stuff I’m working on on the kitchen table). I actually did get a start on setting this up (which I will show you all for the Take it on Tuesday blog hop this coming week). I pinned some of my inspiration on my Organize board.
Thursday I was obsessed with reading about and setting up a time to start freezer cooking. Of course, I started a Pinterest board that I will be referencing as I begin this process next month. I’m planning that for the later month of May I will be trying out freezer cooking, and then at the beginning of June I’ll cook a whole bunch to put in the freezer for after Baby Girl is born.
Stats
Total weight gain/loss? After listening to my midwife and tracking how much protein I eat per day, I gained 3 pounds this week!! Overall now I’ve gained 22 pounds.
Movement – Yes, she continues to move a lot! Last week my midwife thought Baby Girl was in Left Occiput Anterior position.
Hunger/Cravings – Not so much this week. I’ve just been eating more protein (and more almonds).
Best moment this week?
So hard to pick a best moment. I’m really enjoying this planning/nesting/organizing stage. I SO want to have time to do more, but I feel I’m limited in time since I’m still working full time. Oh well, I’m doing it just a little bit at a time.
What I am looking forward to
Getting things organized in the nursery. I’ve decided to look one more week at garage sales for a bookcase, then I’m going to buy one new and start organizing clothes!!
Our little “June Bug’s” Growth
We’ve been taking photos since week 6 and showing a fruit or vegetable in the picture that is the same size as our little “June Bug”. Last week: our little girl was over 16 inches long and 3.3 pounds in weight (jicama). This week: 16.7 inches long and 3.75 pounds in weight (4 oranges).
